Hey all!!!
What is it about music that can make you happy and sad? I was having a conversation with people today and I said that I had a happy song. They all thought I was crazy. My happy song is Under the Sea from the Little Mermaid. When I hear it, what ever mood I am in it cheers me up. I sing along and bounce around and I always feel better for it. I asked everybody else and they do not have one. So, if you do have one please share it with me so I do not feel as though I am the only person in the world to have a happy song!!!!

Might be stretching 'song' a bit, but the first movt of Dvořak's 'Cello concerto in Bminor always lifts my spirits. Anything associated with disney, of course, depresses them again...
I can see where you are going but I cannot agree with the Disney comment. Classical music always gets me, gives me goose bumps all over and often I shed a tear or five!!!!
Disney being of the devil only serves to make me miserable and writhe in agony... Though 'The Polyphonic Spree' never fails to cheer me up... isn't that somehting to do with Newton's law's etc?
why does everyone have such a problem with Disney?? It is so good and cheerful and makes so many people happy!!!!

my fave song to get me happy is "everyday i love you less and less" which isn't a good refection on me. lol
I think the first Toploader album is great - all quality happy tunes!
I would have to say my happy song is Shackles... played at great volume... with lots of dancin like a banana round my livin room. Dancin is good for the soul.

i'm not sure i have a happy song... maybe 'just a dream' by AM60, or 'breakdown' by jack johnson or maybe 'get a move on' by mr scruff... hmm...
At the moment its I Dont Feel Like Dancin' by Scissor Sisters.

tempted to say 'Shine Jesus Shine' just to shake up the mix...but I think my happy song is 'Love Shack' - B52's!
